excel mac vs excel pc - bazookaman - 12-12-2006 I have to create all our forms and such in excel and word. When i create a from in excel there are invariably lines of text which just disappear when someone views it on the pc. When they print it, everything is fine. Its almost as if the pc version of excel is DISPLAYING the font as bigger than it is. Or my mac version is displaying smaller. Its obviously not a font issue since, as i mentioned, it prints fine. Re: excel mac vs excel pc - N-OS X-tasy! - 12-12-2006 This is explained by the fact that the default DPI differs in Mac and Windows. Re: excel mac vs excel pc - bazookaman - 12-12-2006 I could see that and i thought of that. However, b/c the default DPI differs wouldn't EVERYTHING appear larger on the PC??? The problem I have is that just the FONT appears larger. the rest of the excel sheet is intact. Its just trying to fit a larger font into a smaller space. Very strange indeed. |
