Deauthorize all my macs? - JPK - 12-12-2006 What is the impact of the songs & videos I have already purchased? If I authorize again, will this restore their playability? Where is the "authorization" stored? Drive or MB memory? Thanks! JPK Re: Deauthorize all my macs? - BigGuynRusty - 12-12-2006 None Yes No Comment BGnR Re: Deauthorize all my macs? - Bernie - 12-12-2006 De-authorize, nothing works but it is still there. Re-authorize, everything works again. Five computer limit and once a year. I did it once a while back. My password never changed. I just had to go and authorize each computer again. It is like Apple clears a cookie and you start over. Re: Deauthorize all my macs? - bazookaman - 12-12-2006 Just make sure you can reconnect to the apple server. i deauthorized all my computers from home. then reset up the couple at home and TRIED to do mine here at work. unfortunately they had upgraded the firewall in the interim and now i cannot connect to the apple server so therefore i cannot authorize this particular computer. I can play my mp3s but not my itunes purchased music. |
