MacOS Mojave: download available anywhere? - ka jowct - 05-29-2020

Was going to stash an installer on my Mac Pro. Support links via Apple now lead nowhere. Apple needs to go fsck itself, is my first thought. Second thought: have they made it completely unavailable? I don't think I ever downloaded it. It's not in my "purchased" apps.

If the iTunes link in this document doesn't work

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210190
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/macos-mojave/id1398502828?ls=1&mt=12

Then you can always try DosDude1's Mojave patcher's feature of downloading the Mojave installer from Apple's servers.

2nd the DosDude1's utility. Last time I used it, I got the latest, complete installer
very quickly.

Many thanks to the suggestions to try the tool. DosDude's tool found it and is downloading it.

I remember when I liked Apple and their operating systems. Good times.

The dosdude tool is cool. I realize I have a MBP 5,4 that could benefit from running Mojave. I think I'll try it - would give that Mac a whole new life.

He has tools for Sierra through Catalina, not just Mojave. Some older machines drop off his support list in newer OS versions, not sure the highest he supports for the MBP 5,4.

The Sierra tool didn't have the OS download feature, but his tools are useful for downloading the latest releases of High Sierra through Catalina.

Thanks. That laptop will run Catalina. I wonder whether it'll be ok in speed - but I bet it's faster than Mojave.
