Pismo (Target mode) -> G5 -> FW external = 4 mb/sec? - sscutchen - 12-20-2006

I'm running a backup from my Pismo (in target mode) using SuperDuper on my PMac to a 80GB disk image I created on an external FW drive attached to the PMac.

The Pismo is connected to the FW400 port on the front of the PMac. The FW external is connected to a FW port on the back.

It's only running at 4mb/sec.

This seems slow.

Is it?

Any ideas?

It is slow. Thats Target Disk Mode.

Original hard drive? Those could only go about 10 max without any over head.
