At least the request was very easy. All I needed to get from her was her driver's license number.

South Carolina is allowing all voters to vote absentee for the 2020 general, no reason needed.

....she's only been dead since Baby Bush, 43's first term, and coincidentally she also died on Rosh Hashanah, causing a delay in her internment, but even more coincidentally, her middle name was Ruth. She did have a bit of a potty mouth, and I'm sure she would've had some choice nicknames for Cheeto, Bitch, and Graham Cracker, so she oughta still get a vote!

Mom can’t vote for the same reason Buzz’s mom can’t but I did apply for dad (age: 92). He lives in Florida and depends on my sister for most things. He is very liberal and my sister is an evangelical fundy so I know she wouldn’t have made any effort to get him a ballot. Now I have to hope she doesn’t kill him before the election.

For all thats been said about mail in voting not working, you can rest assured that the vast majority of the people involved will go above and beyond particularly after all thats been said.

My ballot came today. I need to research the school board candidates and a couple of others before voting but will mail it in well over a month early and track it online.

Dropped off some business mail today, what used to be a 6:30 PM cut off is now 4PM or it goes the next business day. The Court issued an order about reversing that now they need to find a way to enforce it.
