Shipping a Cinema to Australia - C(-)ris - 12-29-2006 I sold my 23" Cinema Display to a guy in Australia. He agreed to be responsible for anything that happens to it after I drop it off at the post office, as well as all duties and taxes. Is there anything else I need to worry about other than filling out the customs form? I am marking it for the full value. He paid via paypal with an unconfirmed address in Australia, which worries me a little bit, I am holding the package at least until after New Years, but is there a longer amount of time I should wait? Or is there some way to talk to paypal and make sure it is legit before I send it? I'm going to be taking the cash out of my Paypal account before I ship it. BGnR Re: Shipping a Cinema to Australia - grad - 12-29-2006 why is it unconfirmed? do not send it there in that case. see if the confirmed address is the same as the shipping address. Re: Shipping a Cinema to Australia - hal - 12-29-2006 I wouldn't do it - paypal can NOT guarantee your safety. Re: Shipping a Cinema to Australia - WillyB - 12-29-2006 Play it safe. I never ship to an unconfirmed address. Re: Shipping a Cinema to Australia - Speedy - 12-30-2006 Cancel the Paypal and get a Western Union transfer. Works great when I wire money to Nigeria. |
