Read #6 for the new Apple campus blurb.

Steve Jobs caused a stir in the Bay Area this spring when he just popped up at a Cupertino City Council meeting to announce that Apple would be building a new local, massive campus in addition to its world headquarters at One Infinite Loop

If your Google kung fu is strong, you'll be able to find a video of the meeting.

The video was pretty cool once Steve got up. Steve just stepped up and made a very simple announcement..."Oh and one more thing...we just purchased 200 acres of land and we'll be building a $500,000,000 facility that will create 12,000 jobs. Just thought you folks should know...have a nice night..."
