Favorite Podcasts? - karsen - 12-30-2006 I'm just getting into the whole Podcast thing. So far I really like watching Twit and Diggnation. What are your favorite Audio or Video Podcasts? Include a link if possible. Re: Favorite Podcasts? - graylocks - 12-30-2006 Democracy Now. suited for pinko commie left wing conspiracy theorists like me. i get it from iTunes so i don't know the link. Re: Favorite Podcasts? - iaJim - 12-30-2006 All Songs Considered and NPR Music are both great. I get them from iTunes, but I think you can get them at the NPR site too. Both contain a wide variety of artists and give you an introduction to music that you might not ever have heard of before. More music than I can get listened to. I also get This American Life from iTunes. Re: Favorite Podcasts? - Zoidberg - 12-30-2006 I grab some occasional NPR stuff, but nothing regular. I'm a bit of a nerd, so I get the Battlestar Galactica podcasts, but rarely get to listen. I'm very much a pervert so I also get the French Maid stuff. Re: Favorite Podcasts? - ztirffritz - 12-30-2006 This American Life is consistently in the top 10 of iTunes podcasts. Good, quality entertainment. http://thislife.org/ Geek Brief is also a good one. The host is a hottie if nothing else. http://geekbriefwp.podshow.com/ IT Conversations is another good one. A bit nerdy, but we're all nerds here right? Right?! http://www.itconversations.com/index.html Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me is also good for when you're cleaning/cooking/sitting in front of the fireplace. Humorous take on the last week's news. http://www.npr.org/programs/waitwait/ Of course, Rocketboom is pretty good too. Still waiting to see what Amanda Congdon is going to do with her life, but the new RB host is equally hot, and she seems to speak French, German, Spanish, and English. She seems a bit more uptight than Amanda, but she is British, so by British standards she's probably considered wacko. http://www.rocketboom.com/vlog/ TikiBar is another good one. Lala is worth it alone. I love the episode that describes the cause of volcanoes. ahhh, the elusive Mountain Fish... http://www.tikibartv.com/tikibar_display.php?pver=qh&vid=28 Re: Favorite Podcasts? - testcase - 12-30-2006 FrenchMaidTV how to videos are entertaining ![]() Re: Favorite Podcasts? - Markintosh - 12-30-2006 Never Not Funny is a good "guy" show. Re: Favorite Podcasts? - maurycy - 12-31-2006 Brain Food is my recomendation. Re: Favorite Podcasts? - D-Rod - 12-31-2006 I was given a subscription to Coast to Coast AM (Streamlink) as a gift and love it. http://www.coasttocoastam.com/ Re: Favorite Podcasts? - Seacrest - 12-31-2006 Ricky Gervais was good. The Show with Ze Frank http://www.zefrank.com/theshow/ is fun. What's your Power Move? The usual NPR stuff. Science Friday, TAL. Call me crazy, but I regularly watch John C. Dvorak's http://crankygeeks.com French Maid, of course. Comedy Central's stand-up podcasts. Phone Cam Magic. |
