grabbing video from a DVD to edit?? - bassguy - 12-31-2006 I got a DVD of a performance filmed by our local cablevision, but the whole 1.5 hr show is one track - I'd like to extract the 20min segment that is my part and make a new dvd of that. iMovie and QuickTime won't recognize the format, VLC will show it and says that it will transcode it to mpeg1 or 2 or 4 but iMovie still won't recognize the output.
