Is there some software (freeware, preferably) that will allow me to print out twelve months--with events--on one page?

You might try a google search if you haven't yet
I did a calendar last year and was surprised at how many Word templates were out there.
Try using "Word template" when you search - some were for sale but many were free

This worked for me about a year or two ago - pretty simple, but it works.

Oops - didn't notice the "one-page" qualifier - don't know about that; check it out.
You either don't have many "events" or you're using a REALLY BIG page!

OK, well, maybe not print on one page then, but how about viewing a year at a time?

iCal does it but you don't see the options until you click print.
