The Antipope of Mar-a-Lago - p8712 - 01-29-2021

Long, and Good

“The new Trump Tower,” said former Trump political adviser Sam Nunberg.

“The MAGA capital,” said Christian Ziegler, the state Republican vice chair.

“He is going to essentially try to rule in exile,” said Rick Wilson, a former GOP operative in Tallahassee and a co-founder of the anti-Trump Lincoln Project, forecasting “a post-presidency like we’ve never seen.”

Thanks. But they missed the headline here. Should have been: The Garden of Unearthly Delights.

I must say I was surprised to see the pic of him sporting gray hair instead of the usual orange/blond. No more White House stylist.

Will there be a MAGA holiday and holy designation to Marlago? Statues of the inviolate couple? Bus tours?

Give it time.

He needs a megaphone. Until he gets it, he has no "power behind the scenes."

What will interesting is if/when politicians parrot him, because so far none can come up with an original topic on their own.

Trump TV is clearly in the works.

I'm beginning to doubt it.

Trump wants two things: money and adulation. He gets those things to the nth degree when he's out on the campaign trail. He sucks in $millions + all the love he can handle. Meanwhile, Newsmax, OANN and Fox are already pumping the propaganda at full speed.

He can arrange a big rally in a few days and have a blast doing it while raking in the dough. Trump TV would have to start with a lot of planning and a large expenditure that will require actual WORK to generate.

The easy route is to keep telling his people about his wonderful PAC that will do absolutely everything they want and run for "office"... well... run for SOMETHING. Just gimme money!
