flipping channels, I occasionally see ads for these 2 car insurance comparison sites.
I am not sure how they work, I never used them. I assume they take a commissions or install some cookies to track and sell your info.
Anyway, I was curious if there is any connection between them or if they compete for the same clients. I am still curious. meanwhile, I found this

Make sure that you compare coverage and limits. Many of these low price options may not provide the protection that you expect or need.
When I compared a similar one to my current provider, they were 3 times the cost for the coverage I currently have. They appear to prey on people who are focused on cost but don't understand insurance. Many states haven't raised minimum coverage rates in decades. Total another driver's brand new car and you may be bankrupt for life.

They're both data mining operations. Getting you a better rate is not
their biz model. Getting you on a sellable suckers' list is the ultimate goal.
Same goes with the 'medicare insurance assistance' firms the
aging celebrities pimp.
