Epson eco tank printers - samintx - 02-05-2021 Anyone have? Really worth the price? Re: Epson eco tank printers - freeradical - 02-05-2021 I can only answer for myself, and for me, it would be absolutely not. I haven't owned a color printer for over 10 years. They're just too much of a hassle. When I want color, I pay someone else to do it for me. I only own a monochrome laser printer that gets light duty. The only way I'd ever consider buying a color printer would be if it were a fine art inkjet printer, and I planned on using it a lot. However...YMMV... Re: Epson eco tank printers - N-OS X-tasy! - 02-05-2021 So maybe -- just maybe -- someone who has shunned color printing technology for the past decade isn't the best qualified to offer an opinion on the latest color printing technology? Re: Epson eco tank printers - vicrock - 02-05-2021 I bought one about a year ago and LOVE it. Still on the initial ink supply and bought a generic refill set for the future. I've gone through multiple ink jet and laser printers over the years and this is a game changer for me. Re: Epson eco tank printers - kurtzie - 02-05-2021 If I were looking for a new color printer I would be very interested in it. I don't like going through the cartridges, seams like a waste of material, even if they get recycled. I currently have a Brother B&W Laser and an HP all in one color inkjet. The HP is working fine (Knock on wood). Steve Re: Epson eco tank printers - samintx - 02-05-2021 Thanks all Re: Epson eco tank printers - Zoidberg - 02-05-2021 Recommended one (this one) to my Mom just the other day. She'll probably be getting it soon. Re: Epson eco tank printers - jonny - 02-05-2021 ET-4550 I've had this for about 5 years. No problems and the ink it came with lasted forever. Can't find a direct photo. [ADDED] Here it is; the Epson Workforce Pro WF-R4640 EcoTank: |
