Saw this in NY Times article. Why not buy American? (of you’re in the US)

Not suggesting these are in that category - just double check any N95 before you use. This from the Associated Press:

Federal authorities are investigating a massive counterfeit N95 mask operation in which fake 3M masks were sold in at least five states to hospitals, medical facilities and government agencies. The foreign-made knockoffs are becoming increasingly difficult to spot and could put health care workers at grave risk for the coronavirus.

Just bought some regular surgical masks that are made in usa and they definitely smell better. Which is to say, they don't smell at all.

My understanding was that part of the benefit of the N95 mask was the fit. These look just like rebranded KN95’s.

KN95s have earloops. Real N95s have a pair of bands that go around the back of your head. So at least that part is correct.

$75/20 or $3.75 seems a little pricey.

I guess that's the COVID tax.

A friend of mine sells PPE supplies. He sells a lot of regular blue masks, 50 box. Made in China is $8 per box and made in USA is $10.50 per box. He sells China made masks 100:1 over the USA made ones.

I’ve been buying from Filti.com

They were making long life reusable furnace filters as a subscription model. They’d just brought up their full-scale production equipment when the pandemic hit. Instead of shutting down they doubled down and became a mask manufacturer in less than 2 months. Pretty epic tale.

Which one do you get the pleated one or the NF95?

I actually purchase filter media from them for the masks that I'm printing. I purchased some of their NF95 masks too though. They're pretty nice. Expensive though. I found out about them from this podcast:
