Just watching the coin toss of the Orange Bowl and Ali was honorary captain for Louisville.
I knew Ali was sick with Parkinson's but his physical condition was just shocking. The man is a walking corpse. It is heartbreaking to see him like that and know that his mind is still sharp as a tack.

Seems to run in both sides of my family. I do worry about it. My Uncle (Mom's brother) had it; symptoms appeared when he was in his early 60's. My Dad has it. He was diagnosed last year. He is 74. My Mom is showing signs of it. She is 72. I don't wish it on any one.

remember the Olympics when a FRAIL Parkinson's stricken Ali Climbed the steps with out any help to light the Olympic flame? Watching that on T.V. was one of the Highlights of my life,Never had I been so proud to be an American! Latter I read an interview with him where he does not blame his god but declared Parkinson's was a gift from the GOD of his Choice to refocus his life in a positive spiritual way! Mohammad Ali The last true Champ, the last true American Hero!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God Bless him

We could get into a no no discussion of "why bad things happen to good people" "gift from God" here very easily. I feel sorry for Ali and all that have afflictions..but...gift from God? I wonder.

Michael Fox said in an interview that the meds to control the tremors tend to zombie one out. Not the main reason, but one, of why he didn't take them to testify at senate hearings.
