Good EGO Power Plus customer service - space-time - 02-15-2021 I bought 2 EGO tools last summer, a Trimmer and a Chainsaw. Both tools came with identical chargers and 2.5 and 5.0 Ah batteries. It turns out the 5.0A battery died, it no longer takes a charge. I tried both chargers, no luck. I think it only had one cycle. Luckily I still had the receipt in the box. I called EGO customer service, instead of waiting I decided to take a call back. In about 5 min a lady called me, asked me to register, I was able to send a photo of the receipt right back and the lady got in within a minute, and ordered a replacement. All in all, creating the account, registering both tools, both chargers, both batteries, and ordering the replacement took about 15 min. 100% American based customer service, 100% satisfaction, no hesitation to continue to buy their products. I would love a two stage snowblower, but I don't think the technology is there yet for the amount of snow we can get. Mower and a string trimmer. my memory is a little sketchy so I can't remember the precise details but the mower started throwing sparks or smoke or something and then died. I believe it was in the second year of ownership and it may have a two or three year warranty. called CS and they had me describe what was going on. immediately told me to stop trying to use it. they were going to send me a new one (just mower not the battery) and would i be so kind as to use the box to ship the old one back to them so their quality control folks could examine it. a week later i had a new mower. old one went back at their expense. i was so impressed by their response the next year i got a string trimmer that i absolutely adore as it has a power rewinder for reloading the string.
