From the article:
"A man from Michigan was killed earlier this month after he was struck by shrapnel from "a small cannon type device" fired during a baby shower, police said."
This was in the news around here a few weeks ago, and close to where I grew up. Seems to be too many of these accidents lately. Plus, the guy killed was just an innocent bystander. Apparently, the cannon blew apart, possibly because of too much powder. :RollingEyesSmiley5:

Maybe it's not that important what genitalia your newborn has.

(I think my wife and I are the last people on earth not to know the gender until our kdis were born)

And even then, you might just know how the organs are displayed at time of birth. "Gender reveal" is a misleading term anyway, because it will take years to figure out what your kid's 'gender' is - no matter what letter is under "SEX" on the birth certificate.
