Easy to see why... the testimony earlier this week just tears you apart. The witnesses are traumatized. They all said in a different way that they feel a responsibility for not doing more than they did to try to save Floyd's life.
Today his boss said that he felt that excessive force was used. I just got that from twitter - didn't see the testimony or the context.
Sure seems like this guy is going DOWN. I hate to see what might happen if he's exonerated.

We're still in the prosecution's case. The defense hasn't even started its presentation yet -best to leave the chickens uncounted, I think.

An interesting ploy is that that the prosecution is presenting lots of the 'bad info' on Floyd and then goes on to explain why none of that is relevant to this case - interesting idea.

If the defense runs their turn like they've been doing so far for cross-examine, Chauvin's going to jail. It'll be interesting to see how they present their case of doubt ... because there likely aren't many facts on their side.

This trial is too heart rending. I'm sticking with the little reports from BBC World Service on the radio. I've overheard a little when my husband watches the evening news in the next room and that's more than enough.

Sort of holding my breath until there is a fair verdict. One comment by a legal analyst said that allowing former sergeant, David Pleoger's answer on use of force is a possible grounds for a mistrial because he is not an expert on that subject.
