Walmart is my only choice, logistically. The base price is $30. I figure they get you with the soap. Is it worth doing?

We own a Big Green Commericial.

To make that investment we kinda thought it was worth it. We also have an Electrolux dri shampoo.

It is worth renting to find out.

From my experience, yes.

In the early days of providing care for our mother, vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s, there were occasional “accidents” that would leave obviously unfortunate and difficult discoloration.

In the moment, the best was done with off the shelf cleaners and disinfectants, but the results were imperfect and over time the appearance suffered greatly.

Latched onto a Rug Doctor with their fluids and after the one round, following instructions, the carpet looked the cliche good as new. Full deposit back when we eventually moved.

Not that one specifically, but rented one from the supermarket, and it worked very well.

I have a steam vac (I think it's a Bissell), and it works ok, but not as good as a Rug Doctor.

See if anyone in your area rents the Bissell Commercial BG-10, it puts
Rug Doctor machines to shame.

Well, I would take your word on it, but I would have to drive at least an hour and then another hour to take it back.

The machines at your local megamart are only as good as the servicing and upkeep they have received. That will vary by location.

I get a cleaner at a local Ace hardware which is a much smaller store. The machines have been kept up and work flawlessly. You may want to see if there are any smaller locations with a more selective customer base than Wal-Mart.

I would just pay someone to come out and do it. $100 should cover it and they do a WAY better job.
