Apple's trackpads with 'Force Touch' for add'l functionality - anyone use that? - hal - 04-05-2021

I don't have a laptop with this kind of trackpad, but I got the recent desktop trackpad that does this and I really find it to be a feature in search of a use. I will occasionally hard click to get a dictionary definition of a word (right click does this too). And when using iMovie, the hard click is required for some procedures (and it annoys me that the hard click is required - it was better before).

Ergonomically, it's bad for my fingers, thumb, hand, wrist - nothing wants to apply hard pressure on a continuous basis.

Apple should quietly pull this 'feature' imo...

Never used it, but Apple trackpads are second to none. I cannot stand to use any PC laptop trackpads. They are all so far behind in feel and functionality.
