ABC Announces Fall Premiere Dates: Grey's, Big Sky, The Rookie and More
....ABC is the third broadcast network (following The CW and CBS) to reveal exact premiere dates for the fall.
Dancing With the Stars‘ 30th season is first out of the gate on Monday, Sept. 20, while the Michelle Young-led cycle of The Bachelorette and new drama Queens close out ABC’s fall launch on Tuesday, Oct. 19.
Grey’s Anatomy kicks off its 18th season on Thursday, Sept. 30 at 9 pm, sandwiched between sibling series Station 19 (at 8 pm) and relocated sophomore drama Big Sky (at 10 pm).
Meanwhile, the reboot of The Wonder Years joins ABC’s Wednesday comedy block on Sept. 22.
All told, ABC’s premiere date plan looks like this

The family recently got into The Goldbergs and binged all 8 seasons on Hulu. Happy they're coming back.

The "Goldbergs" are on a heavy syndication schedule. It's a really enjoyable show. Wendi McLendon-Covey is masterful.

Good news about The Rookie, though I miss the mirth of the first season.
Richard T. Jones does a great job with Sgt. Grey and the Grey/Nolan back and forth in lineup are some of my favorite moments in the show.
In The Rookies, they were rookies for four years or so, a bit long.
That's a little tough to pull off, in this age of instant gratification, and this season Fillion is looking much older than last.
But I wish they'd spent more time in Nolan's 'first year' on the job.

The wife and I enjoy the Rookie. I always wondered how they'd extend a show about a guy being a rookie. I figured, he'd get promoted to something else, then he'd be a different rookie. Then transferred or something and be a different rookie again. and so on.
