My first case of vertigo ever - Dennis S - 10-09-2021 I’ve been nearly falling aces months, but my reflexes have been good enough to catch myself. The last two nights I have had the classic spinning in the head. It’s really a weird feeling. I anticipate little help from doctors; that’s been the MO for the quite awhile. Re: My first case of vertigo ever - Diana - 10-09-2021 Neurologist and/or audiologist. My stroke manifested itself as a severe dizzy spell (vertigo) with nausea. An MRI caught the damage; I previously had a vertigo issue (BPPV) and I thought it was just another spell of it. The neurologist found it, and the audiologist found the BPPV as crystals in the inner ear. The Epley maneuver as well as PT exercises helped a LOT but I still need to be careful not to stir things up, so to speak. So, no more roller coaster rides for me. /s Re: My first case of vertigo ever - Dennis S - 10-09-2021 I can’t get into a neurologist right now. It’s a long aggravating story. I’ve had two brain MRIs in the last two years. I’ve had ear pain and went to a ENT doctor who didn’t even see me; he pawned my off on his meth head Nurse Practitioner who vacuumed my ear wax and gave me a print out on TMJ. Re: My first case of vertigo ever - testcase - 10-09-2021 You might want to get checked by an Ophthalmologist. General eye health along with good vision (or lack thereof) can be a factor in perception and balance. Especially for diabetics. :oldfogey: Re: My first case of vertigo ever - anonymouse1 - 10-09-2021 Time for new ENT doc.
