School me on the Nintendo Switch - kurtzie - 11-27-2021 School me on the Nintendo Switch. I'm think of getting one for casual gaming for my wife and I. Mario Kart, Mario etc… We don't have any human children and the dog doesn't have a big opinion on gaming console choices. I know supplies are limited, but Target and Best Buy seem to restock every few days. What are the must have accessories? Anything to be aware of? Thanks, Steve Re: School me on the Nintendo Switch - Bernie - 11-27-2021 Nintendo SWITCH Pro Controller Charging dock for each This dock is the best. Controller justs settles into place with no concern over connector damage. Two plus together as one and share power. Spend the extra and get the official Nintendo Pro controller. Then all yo need is time to play. Animal Crossing New Horizons in your future? Re: School me on the Nintendo Switch - MikeF - 11-27-2021 Animal Crossing: New Horizons Re: School me on the Nintendo Switch - C(-)ris - 11-27-2021 I would get a pair of wireless controllers and not use the JoyCons except when mobile. Re: School me on the Nintendo Switch - Bernie - 11-27-2021 Hey MikeF Happy Home Paradise download add on content. The wife has it on her Swatch. Yes we have two Consoles and two islands. The download we bought outright so it would not disappear if our online subscription expired or whatever. You have to have some real time on your hands for this but any furniture you use in designing appears in YOUR inventory. Re: School me on the Nintendo Switch - Forrest - 11-27-2021 The Pro Controller is overpriced. Plenty of third party controllers available for $30. Re: School me on the Nintendo Switch - kurtzie - 11-28-2021 Thanks for all the help. Re: School me on the Nintendo Switch - dk62 - 11-29-2021 Forrest wrote: I would have to disagree. Unless you are really lucky, by the time you have a third party controller that works reliably after a month, you will be out more than the price of the genuine article. Apart from Animal Crossing, I would highly recommend Zelda BOTW and a knockof/partial improvement Immortals: Rise of Fenyx. For cooperative games, wife and I enjoyed playing together Hyrule Warriors and Snipperclips. Re: School me on the Nintendo Switch - Zoidberg - 11-29-2021 dk62 wrote: I would have to disagree. For controllers, don't skimp. Re: School me on the Nintendo Switch - kurtzie - 11-30-2021 Zoidberg wrote: I would have to disagree.
