MR Forum Fit Club: Pop goes the weasel - pRICE cUBE - 02-02-2022 MR Forum Fit Club Got in two upper body lifting workouts and much less sugar intake. Holding steady on weight. Trying to avoid delicious cookies. Re: MR Forum Fit Club: Pop goes the weasel - Racer X - 02-02-2022 ![]() Re: MR Forum Fit Club: Pop goes the weasel - Speedy - 02-02-2022 6.8 miles of walking. Too cold, too windy, too busy for more. Mostly too windy. Today we had gusts to 45 MPH so we took the day off. Tomorrow the high will be 5° above but an 11 MPH wind makes it cold enough for frostbite. I’d rather have -25° and no wind so likely tomorrow will be another day off. Re: MR Forum Fit Club: Pop goes the weasel - Don C - 02-02-2022 Got my gym workout done Tuesday plus a couple of miles walking the dog. Some of the dog time is quick and some standing around. Rain forecast tomorrow will probably make the dog time pretty quick, but not as quick as Thursday will be with up to half an inch of ice and temperatures back into the low teens. Fifty degree temperature swings are tough to get used to! Up a couple of pounds, maybe too much cheese, maybe just too much. Re: MR Forum Fit Club: Pop goes the weasel - Lew Zealand - 02-02-2022 3.7mi/day. Cheating is good. When you cheat the right way of course, and my way is the right way. I play the game theory version of exercise where I set an arbitrary target for the month and then keep moving that goalpost as things come up and destroy my flimsy plans. January was the first month since last March where my daily steps could have dipped below the 9,000 monthly average thanks to no exercise after Shingles vax for a day and a half, so I planned reasonably well and got 13,800 steps or 5.6 mi on 1/31 to clear that 9,000 average. Cheater. As an experienced, accomplished, and professional lazy person, game theory totally works on me to exercise. Hack your brain! |
