Second attempt to recall progressive LA DA fails... - RgrF - 08-16-2022 ...the smell test. With a seeding of almost a half million dollars (hardly a grass roots effort) they used paid signature procurers who proved to be amateurish. Now following an established pattern, recall organizers are claiming false certifying by the County Clerk and demanding on site observers od certification procedures. Sound familiar? A first effort to recall Gascón failed to gather enough signatures in 2021. Organizers launched their second attempt earlier this year. Gascón was formerly the DA in San Francisco. Voter suppression Whatever it takes for an electoral minority to compete against a majority (actually racial minorities are an exception of course) is where your problem lay. Not whether or not it's misguided, because it's not that. It's strategy. |
