Some districts have already had judges influenced be usage of algorithms but they (the computer simulations) are far from perfect. But it’s a step in the right direction. Our bigger issues remain: 1) the House has too-few representatives (numbers are capped, increasing population is not) 2) the Senate has too-many representatives (small state protections are used as a cudgel instead) Re: Monte Carlo simulations to analyze gerrymandering - Harbourmaster - 08-30-2022 I read that article the other da and found it very enlightening! |
