DeSantis one ups Abbott, flys 2 plane loads of migrants to Martha's Vinyard. - RgrF - 09-15-2022
NEW: Officials with the Town of West Tisbury are saying right now there are at least 50 people from Texas who have been essentially SHIPPED (flown and left on) to Martha's Vineyard.
Apparently, two more plane loads of people are expected to arrive in the coming days.
This from a WGBH tweet that's not linked. FOX has it as well.

Florida needs immigrants to tend the landscaping, housekeep for all the old people and such. Also, they don't want to accidentally ship out someone related to a Cuban exile family, they vote Republican.

In a way I agree, but there's purposefully zero coordination. They're purposefully being pains in the ass.

It's a myth that northern states, because of their distance from borders (at least southern borders) do not already deal with undocumented immigrants. But I will say that most who travel north, seem to have their stuff together perhaps a little more so, and tend to find employment quite easily. I've worked alongside many central and south Americans over the decades.

MA already has its own undocumented immigrants, you don't hear as much about it as from other regions. The zero coordination and deliberately choosing to drop them off on the island where there is listed resources to work with the people just dropped off.
