This is in your yard - beady red eyes and all - Ombligo - 10-22-2022 ![]() It is a photo of an ant taken using reflected light with 5X objective lens magnification. The photo was taken by Dr. Eugenijus Kavaliauskas and submitted to the Nikon Small World Photomicrography Competition. You're looking at the bases of the antennae. There's one eye in the picture, but it's deep in shadow towards the right side.
