I remember some friends having their eponymous album back in college, but never saw them myself. Did see Dan Hicks who also played some in that Western Swing vernacular.

I was asleep at the wheel, once. Then my car jumped the curb onto a median and took out a lamp post. No injuries, other than a broken control arm.

Yeah, sorry, I didn't mean to infer that they were only a "local" band, but they seemed to play often locally.
