Medium: A Presentation To The US Congress - gadje - 03-15-2023 Is there any content curating or anyone can post anything? https://makarand-bidwai.medium.com/a-presentation-to-the-us-congress-76a13fbd7480 Re: Medium: A Presentation To The US Congress - Don C - 03-15-2023 Too many analog clocks in my life to want any part of this. Here we are Tuesday night and I still have two car clocks to reset. Resetting them every few days is not a step forward! Re: Medium: A Presentation To The US Congress - vision63 - 03-15-2023 It's clever. However, I enjoy springing forward and falling back. It's refreshing and shakes things up for a while. It's great fun to suddenly have more daylight. It's also fun to hunker down for the wintertime and Christmas. Re: Medium: A Presentation To The US Congress - gadje - 03-15-2023 So what about the continuous change in time difference between countries in the North and South hemispheres? We might as well go back to solar clocks and each town having their own time, right? In other words I think it’s not clever. Quite the opposite. They have to come to me and defeat me in a cage match to get it changed. If they can do that then we can talk about Imperial Units too. Re: Medium: A Presentation To The US Congress - Rolando - 03-15-2023 I'd prefer the Summer Months move BACK! That would actually save energy, as people sleep thru the cool morning hours, and with the sun setting earlier, people would use less cooling energy in the PM.
