Sapori said that Brazil has adopted a mixed approach, which stresses mental health care, preventive monitoring of threats and training for teachers, in addition to policing.

“In Brazil, we have a clear understanding, based on the U.S. experience, that merely investing in armed security in schools does not work, that police presence in schools doesn’t hinder attacks,” Sapori said. “It only works to transform schools into prisons.”

Apart from that, they’ve cracked down on social media, and detained hundreds without explanation.

Is that your vision for America, mr645?

He has said as much in previous threads.

That his links do not support what he thinks they support, is pretty much par for the course.

"a mixed approach, which stresses mental health care, preventive monitoring of threats and training for teachers, in addition to policing"

I think these ideas would be helpful. Arresting hundreds of people for social media posts and taking away guns from law abiding citizens, no, goes against everything the USA stands for

You’re assuming Mr645 actually READS the full content of his links. He does not.

How do you know what I read? Just because you choose to read a few bits that align with your pre-determined ideals, does not mean I read the article. Displayed by the short clips you chose to quote and highlight.

How do we know? We read your meager links AND what you've claimed they say.

More often than not, they do not (and we've pointed that out to you frequently.)

I posted a link, I didn't claim anything. Then others chose to quote snippets that gave them peace of mind presenting to value their ideals.

Like CNN when they quote Trump "Fight like hell", editing bits of what he said

A half truth.

If you want others to listen, providing context to why you felt the link important would help you tell whatever story you are advocating.

In this case, the others here just assumed you were talking the same points around guns that you did in the past.

With that extrapolation, the story doesn't support that view. Indeed, the entire first section are those in Brazil who are trying to get a better outcome than what we are seeing in the US.

I think it's good you point out that school shootings are terrible - that WAS your first point, right?

If we can start from that, we can have a constructive discussion.

You rarely provide links to your claims, but when you do...
Don't remember making claims about your links that they actually did NOT substantiate??
