Trump missed the deadline to request that he be allowed to testify in the civil trial brought by a woman accusing him of rape.
I'm rather disappointed as it would be fun to watch him melt down and perjured himself on the witness stand

I suspect there was a conversation with his lawyer explaining that they would be his "former lawyer" if he attempted to take the stand.

Since his one defense witness dropped out, he essentially offered no defense against the civil charges.
He doesn’t have to, of course. He just can’t very well claim the case was stacked against him when no one, including himself, showed up to defend him.

He'll still complain about not being able to testify and being a victim - and deplorables will believe him.
