Is the air quality (Canada smoke) affecting radio signals? - DinerDave - 06-08-2023
Or is it a coincidence that the last week or two my radio has not been as crisp sounding
as usual. Same daily, weekly frequent trips I have noticed FM radio stations seem weaker,
and have been fading sooner in travel for the last week or two.
Smoke? Coincidence? Twilight Zone?

Interesting question!
Most of what I find comes from studies involving firefighters and frequencies other than FM, but one could extrapolate.

There is an indirect connection -- the fires were caused by the same space-laser wielding alien beings who are interfering with radio signals. I think the rest of the connection is obvious.
