I don't know if this has been posted before, but that's not important.
RiseNY full ride experience. Amazing NYC is an AI 'tour' up in NYC.
This is a Disney-like 'ride' in the RiseNY museum in NYC, videoed by a visitor with their phone.
I watched it with the sound off because people suck, and I didn't care for enthusiastic contributions.
To that end, this has the least annoying audio, if one is compelled to listen.
It appears to be missing a minute or so from the beginning.
So it's AI, and the kind of thing I want to use AVP for, but with actual footage, not AI stuff.
Well, at least not a lot of AI.
I don't need Minority Report computing, but it would be kind of cool.
Immersive video and audio is the best, short of and sometimes better than, actually being their.
From time to time I come across dji-type drone footage that looks really good on my monitor, but wonder what this would be like in a really immersive environment.
If I can't get this from AVP, I'll be truly disappointed.

My father and his wife watch travel video's one night of the week to gain inspiration for future trips. An immersive experience might be even better yet but the cost of the AVP is prohibitive for one let alone two headsets.

There's prohibitive and then there's prohibitive.
Mine is of the former.
I don't need it, I can easily live without it— unfortunately I can afford it.
Worse yet, I only need one.
I want to snipe one on Day One, but that will depend on content.
Playing like I'm doing Minority Report will get old very quickly.
When I got my Sega Genesis, it came with a Sonic cart, I think, and there were no others available at the time.
Not caring much for that game at all, it got old quick, but the graphics dazzled me.
There's a Apple siren singing to me.
