Re: I hope when senility sets in that I don't fall for these - Rick-o - 11-12-2023 Agreed. I can usually tell instantly when I get a junk email. Will I be able to continue spotting the scams when I become even more feeble? Probably not. :oldfogey: Re: I hope when senility sets in that I don't fall for these - RAMd®d - 11-13-2023 I've got tons of scam emails from CVS, and a host of others. I've never done business with them as other than a cash customer, so they got my address from somewhere else. But I've received scam emails 'From' almost every company I've ever used a credit card with or even just set up an account so I could get a discount. To be clear, not legitimate ads, to be expected, but from sources posing as the aforementioned. And Apple only lets me trash them a few (10?) at a time. NEVER click on an email link or call their number. I'm just concerned future Rick-o may not be able to remember this if mental proficiency declines. |
