Trump attacks judges daughter - again - Ombligo - 03-31-2024
Once again Trump has attacked the daughter of Judge Juan Merchan, this time it includes posting photos of her to his Truth social account. This is at least the third time he has posted about her since a gag order was imposed on him. The order did not specify the family members were included.
The Manhattan District Attorney has asked for the judge to clarify that the the order includes family of all involved. It is believed that Trump is trying to get the judge to react in order to set up an appeal.
The Manhattan DA's hush money case against Trump is scheduled to go to trial on April 15.

The judge needs to react by sending him to Rikers… and imposing another huge bond to add to the collection if he wants to get out before he meets the Rikers Hospitality crew. He at least needs to ride the bus. Without consequences, why should anyone expect a change in behavior.

It's an interesting problem because she's a public figure. There are greater protections for speech in respect of public figures.

Why is she a public figure?
She is president of a privately owned campaign consulting firm. This seems more like judicial intimidation, which could be obstruction of justice.

...President and partner of a firm that trades on its involvement with high-profile political figures and promotes itself as such.
She's made press announcements about it that were in the national news. She's a public figure.
