Two Monitors...can they be switched? - The UnDoug - 02-26-2007 Hi, I've got two monitors hooked up to my MDD 867: a 19" LCD on the DVI port and a 15" LCD on the ADC port. Both ports are on the built-in (stock) video card. They both work, but the ADC one (the 15") is the one with the hard disks and dock, etc. I can't find a way to switch them. Does the ADC default to the "main" monitor or something? Thanks. Re: Two Monitors...can they be switched? - The UnDoug - 02-26-2007 Just got my question answered in almost real time at the Hotline server: "C(-)ris: go to display preferences, then go to arangement, drag the menu bar from the top to the other screen." It worked like a charm... why didn't I think of that. It even says to do so in the Display prefs. window! Re: Two Monitors...can they be switched? - BigGuynRusty - 02-26-2007 Yeppers, since 1986! BGnR Re: Two Monitors...can they be switched? - Mr645 - 02-26-2007 Drag and drop. Apple takes it to the extreme. Sometimes the solution is too simple to be obvious. Apple really does a nice job creating an operating system. |
