I love it when Mark Cuban takes on the loonies on Twitter/X.

'You guys both,
@piersmorgan
,
@BillAckman
, are so consumed with pandering to your twitter followers, you have lost all objectivity.

I’ll let you both in on a secret.

BOTH CANDIDATES ARE OLD. VERY OLD.

They both are going to have senior moments, mis-remember, forget things and have physical frailties.

I’ll tell you a not so secret secret:

One is great at soundbites, but also thinks in soundbites.

The other is awful at soundbites, but thinks in complete sentences.

Voters will decide which we prefer'

By the way, Mark Cuban is 65.

How is it that we cannot have a 'spry' 58 or 65 year old as a top candidate is still something I truly do not understand.

Agreed, I like Cuban more and more as time goes on.

Caught that on TwX the other night, pretty sure Cuban thinks he should be up there on stage debating.

If you're gonna get anything done, you'll need to delegate and defer to competent, experienced staff to make it happen. The Entrepreneur mindset may not be a good fit for effective governance. Trump was train wreck in this case. Ross Perot, who came closest before Trump, failed the test before the election while leading in the polls.

And therein lies the issue. I certainly trust Biden to surround himself with competent, thinking adults. We already see that's not going to happen with the other guy. In fact, we've pretty much been guaranteed the opposite.

Can we just accept that we are living in a weird time, where it took an old man to defeat Shitler, and where we have a replay of that contest because the loser is emotionally crippled and has Daddy issues.

With any luck, this is a bizarre moment beyond which we will be restored to more normalcy. Certain people dropping dead will be a help there. One can only hope.

No. I refuse to accept that we have no agency.

There is basically a flip of the coin chance that we have (again!) the least competent Commander in Chief in the White House (at least in my lifetime).

Somehow, that lesson was not learned.

In a democracy, everyone gets to vote. Even stupid people.

Because a little under half the electorate was convinced that black = white, war = peace, freedom = slavery, and ignorance = strength.

I agree that we DO have agency. This is truly a battle of good versus evil. Even if evil wins though, I think there's a good chance that the Orange Galactic Embarrassment will not be entrusted with anything truly important, like the nuclear codes.

And the one major part I disagree with $tevie about: he doesn't have Daddy issues, he has Baby Daughter issues.
