Having Trouble Setting Up Shared Email Address w/ Mac Mail - rasmac - 10-15-2024
i'm having issues trying to setup a shared email address with the Mail app on my Mac.
this shared address is for work purposes.
everyone else at work has a windows box and uses Outlook for mail.
i will sometimes use the Outlook web app to check work email via phone, but i don't use the desktop app.
i did setup the shared email address within the Outlook web app and so that works just fine, but i can't get things setup correctly within Mail on my Mac.
currently, i am able to send an email message from either my work email OR the shared email address just fine - so that part works.
but, i cannot receive any messages that are sent to the shared address.
i'm using an M1 mini with monterrey.
can anyone enlighten me?
i don't want to use Outlook...

what kind of account is it? Who is the provider?
