Trump meets The Honeymooners: YouTube

Some more political humor - pdq - 11-01-2024

…or at least, items that I found humorous:

Tucker Carlson says he was attacked by a demon while sleeping (noted in previous thread, deets to follow):

The former Fox News host said that a demon, or “something unseen,” left him scarred and bloodied after a paranormal experience a year-and-a-half ago—although it is unclear when the segment was filmed.

… Carlson told the documentarians he first thought it was “the weirdest dream I’ve ever had,” but then saw blood on his sheets. “I had four claw marks on either side, underneath my arm and left shoulder. And they were bleeding,” he said.

… The former Fox News host said he called his assistant, an Evangelical Christian, who said it was probably a demon attack.

Well, of course. I mean, what else could it possibly be?

Carlson [who was asleep] said his wife and four dogs were in the bed when it happened…

Yep. Must have been a demon. Probably a Demoncrat. They’re the worst.

And they later found demonic fleas in their bed too. (jk)

Item 2: Trump sues CBS/60 Minutes for 10 beelyon dollars:

What did 60 Minutes do? They edited an interview! (The one that was to accompany the one he ducked out on).

“To paper over Kamala’s ‘word salad’ weakness, CBS used its national platform on 60 Minutes to cross the line from the exercise of judgment in reporting to deceitful, deceptive manipulation of news.”

Trump has seemingly obsessed over the reception of Harris’ 60 Minutes, calling the network’s decision not to release the unedited version the “single biggest scandal in broadcast history.”

And finally, number 3: Trump Struggled to Find Albuquerque Rally Venue After Stiffing the City $400K

(which is totally untrue! Actually, he owes them $445K)

Donald Trump had trouble finding a place to hold Thursday’s rally in Albuquerque, New Mexico, after his campaign stiffed the city almost $445,000 the last time it was in town, the Santa Fe New Mexican reported. Originally event organizers wanted to hold the former president’s rally at the Albuquerque Convention Center, but the city refused to even consider it because the campaign still has an outstanding bill from a similar event in 2019.

Can’t blame the Donald. He never expected he would ever be back in Albuquerque again. I mean, why would he pay?

The Trump campaign responded in its usual calm, measured way, accusing officials of “electoral interference.”

A GOP presidential candidate can’t just walk away from a $400K years-overdue bill in a blue state? What is the world coming to?

Is it just me or is a motif developing on these outfits?

Or have we already forgotten:

The reality is that he's doing this ultimately to sell more merch like a bunch of bad episodes of Undercover Boss. What's next?

Firefighter?
Chef?
Lumberjack?
Sailor?
