...I'm a little surprised he hasn't decreed getting rid of the time change. Or maybe he'll make it a half hour and just call it Trump time.

It was done before and widely regarded as a bad idea and then undone.
I believe that there is a vocal minority that wants to get rid of it.

He has been discussing it for a few years, now and then. I believe he flipped from keeping it on EST to keeping it on DST. Until he makes up his mind, I don't think he'll sign one.
