Detroit Tiger Made MLB History Last Night - Two Home Runs In The 9th Inning - Rick-o - 05-03-2025

I didn't realize it had never been done before in MLB history. I was watching last night and it was a real bloodbath in the ninth. Tiger bats were blasting!

> ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Riley Greene didn't want to dwell on becoming the first player in major league history to homer twice in the ninth inning of a game.

Who said baseball is boring? Heck, they almost had a brawl earlier in the game when both benches cleared. No punches thrown, but umps had to warn both teams.

That's interesting. Although there is probably a "never before" in every baseball game - that's another beautiful thing about baseball. Sorta.
