... caught this guy on the way out to work today, it was apparently so hot that he/she had to take a drink... right in the middle of the road. The roads here are all under construction, as you can see.

Yeah, it helped a lot that he/she was literally sitting there, mostly still, for several minutes. This is apparently normal behavior for them, it's called "puddling", seemingly to get the minerals: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puddling_(behavior)

OT: but it's good to see that wikipedia URLs with parens don't result in broken links.
I haven't noticed any censoring yet either, that was also a pain when a URL contained a censored word.
