I've received email notifications of new replies to subjects that I've replied to.
As an aside, I voted in this poll. This is the first MacResource forum poll that I've ever actually been able to vote in. On the old forum it would always tell me that I already voted when I hadn't.

Maybe it depends on if you have the “show email” or something like that checked in your profile.
I don’t have that checked, so maybe that’s why it doesn’t show.
