Post 'Reply' oddity... - RAMd®d - 07-03-2025

When I click 'Reply' on a Quick Reply, the page moves down slightly, lowering the QR button, but not resulting in the posting of the reply.

Before I noticed that, as the reply button moved below the bottom of the display, I assumed the reply was made, when in fact it wasn't.

So now I reply once and click twice, once triggering the jump, and once to actually post the reply.

Anybody else having this happen?

Yeah, I have noticed something similar.
I am not sure why it does that, but it’s not just you.

Edit: it doesn’t seem to happen every time, as it didn’t happen on this reply, but it does happen.

I looked and there are other “question” threads that don’t have the blue “?” so no idea why it’s there
I guess Rammie is just special.

I try to keep that a secret, but sometimes...

There's an option when creating a thread that allows one to pic an emoji for the left column, from a row of them about the formatting options.

I'm not an emoji guy but I have a pet peeve of many posts looking like their an answer to a question, when they're only a question:

Watching Movies on Apple Watch  or

AirPlay 2 Speakers

that pique my interest only to be 'how do I...' or 'does anybody know of...' thereby dashing my hopes of seeing something I've been wanting actually happening.,lea

I'd put a ? at the end of my question so it's clear I'm looking for an answer, not offering one.

So, even though I'm loathe to use emojis, some will server a purpose.

To be fair, occasionally there is a reply to such posts with information I can use, but generally, not.

I was using the Quick Reply box because it was slightly more convenient, but when I went to italicize or bold something I couldn't do it from there. So now I just use the New Reply button instead.
