The Medicaid cuts target states that expanded the program under the ACA, so that is mostly blue states.  Trumps top 10 supporting states won't be impacted much. California gets clobbered.   The cuts to healthcare and nutrition assistance will occur in drips over years around the country.   Real pain to real people but designed to strategically target the poorest Americans, who as a group don't vote much. I'm less and less hopeful for the mid-terms. Most MAGAts will still not head warnings, since they seem to be clueless to what's already happened. They're willing to 'tough it out' till American is Great Again because that's what patriots do. But there are millions who sat 2024 out for whatever reason, who aren't tied to the Trump Tracks. They and any disillusioned and betrayed CFDT supporters have to be motivated in '28 or Democracy will never recover to even a semblance of what it was.
