No response from Troy about restoring my old account... - Jerry_Registered - 07-03-2025
I know he's probably busy but I've seen as handful of people get their old username restored after the forum swap. I sent 2 PMs and an email last week. Anything more I can do or just get used to my "new" username?

I never heard back, but I kept trying and one day it finally worked.
Maybe do the reset PW for the old UN once a day and see if it works.

Nope. They don't owe us anything.
Also I PM him about davemchine and Troy replied that everything looked normal and he's not sure why davemchine cannot log in.
Maybe it's something peculiar to some accounts and OWC staff has no obligation to troubleshot all the possible scenarios. Be glad you have a home here, and everyone knows who you are.
Sometimes a fresh start is better.

....samsies.....PM troy and then tried a day later and it worked......you may also have to reset the password as the password from the old forum didn't work.....
