Corelle question - Don - 07-08-2025
Part 1 is a rant because I was going to ask at the Corelle.com website but there is no email address listed for Support. I had an option to Chat but in order to do so they wanted first name, last name and an email address. Screw that. At least I can ask a question here.
Part 2 (the actual question). Does anyone know if there exists a snap-on lid for Corelle's 11-ounce Dip & Condiment Bowl? They're a great size for leftovers, but I hate dealing with plastic wrap to cover them. I was unsuccessful googling for an answer. Thanks.

If you cannot find lids for those, you may want to consider something like this

and search reviews for "lid" you see only one person who says they bought lids separately and then a handful of people complaining there are no lids. And older review (2021) says "The salad plates act as a lid when storing food in refrigerator! Love them."

Thanks, special. We already have several of those clear glass smaller containers with lids, but sometimes those slightly smaller Corelle bowls are better…except for not having a lid.
I didn't think to search the reviews for "lid", just the actual product line. Interesting to see others having the same complaint about lack of lids.

I wonder if there is a market opportunity here. How much would it cost to make a mold and make some lids?
Then Amazon or some Chinese company would steal the idea and make their own version.

Hi Don,
I still use colorful Corelle dishes I bought back in the 90s, but never thought to look for lids! However, the stretchy silicone bowl covers like these have been really convenient for me, as they can fit over all sorts of containers, or even pieces of fruit such as citrus and melons. I originally got them for old Pyrex bowls that outlasted the plastic lids they came with. The photo is just an example; if you google "stretchy silicone lids" you'll be shown many different sizes, colors and package configurations from the usual big shopping sites. Here are some at WalMart.

It's not a matter of it, but when basic plastic lids will fail.
And replacement lids aren't cheap.
But I can see a manufacturer thinking that a bowl might be used for mixing, not storing, so not providing lids.
I've got a few Corelle pieces, not being big on stoneware, etc., and never thought of having lids for any of the bowls.
