Why can't i remember the simple things any longer? why do i walk out of the house without my briefcase? why do i constantly forget the library books that are due? why must i drive off with my favorite hat on top of my car....?
would have NOTHING to do with this here internet thing, i am sure.

because we only have so much mental ram to work with and modern life pushes that limit all the time.
i write things down. using lists means i don't have things running loose in ram memory. my pda is indispensable in that regard.

I tell people that my built in hard drive is getting full.
