I like the zippiness of the new Safari beta. Already using the "Merge All Windows" feature and finding it handy.
But as per usual, the new version temporarily broke PithHelmet (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/18158) and for the first time in years, I'm seeing all the ads that appear to most people on the vast majority of web pages. Sorta forgot that this the norm.
Man, it's like watching TV without TIVO, which I never do. It's insulting to the senses.

Safari3 actually is incompatible with Pith Helmet.
(I edited the pith helmet files to be compatible with the new Safari, but it just results in Safari crashing at every launch).
I NEED Pith Helmet.. Ads suck.

I just uninstalled the beta. More trouble than it was worth. I'll wait till the third party developers update their plug-ins. The beta shows promising new features, but it was too buggy and all the ads sealed the deal for me.

Is it me, Safari 3, or the forum: all the php links at the top (like AAPL price) don't display correctly.

The stock quote at the top isn't Safari..
I'm using Firefox, and it's goofed up.

Well they are not displaying for me in BonEcho 2.0 either ... I have installed the beta too so there may be a link.

weirdness associated w/ warnings: fopen, fread, fclose in both safari 1.3.2 and firefox 2.0.0.4. thought it was just the wonky server at work. maybe not?
haven't downloaded safari beta. Hmmm...

I couldn't even install it. Running 10.4.9 and the dialog after "Agree" said my computer was not compatible. G5-Dual.
